I loved "Star Trek: Phase II" when it was still "Star Trek: New Voyages." From the moment I watched the pilot episode, which deals with time travel, alternate timelines and the fate of Christopher Pike in a way that is at least a hundred times more faithful (as well as entertaining) to established canon and the spirit of "Trek" itself. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a HUGE favor and watch it now.
But the Phase II crew really topped themselves and restored not only my faith in the fate of the franchise, but the TRUE Trek timeline itself. I actually cheered when I watched this. And thanks to my oldest friend, David Snow, for bringing this gem to my attention.
I'm a huge fan of Star Trek in just about any flavor, individually or swirled. I love Photoshop too, and there's nothing I love more than sticking my head on Kirk's body, unless it is the work of a real pro giving us the glory that is this:
